Biography

Dr. Barnidge has been in education since 2007, when he graduated with his PhD in Law from Queen’s University Belfast.  His doctoral research explored issues related to non-state terrorism and international law and was published in revised form as Non-State Actors and Terrorism: Applying the Law of State Responsibility and the Due Diligence Principle (Asser 2008).  Dr. Barnidge’s most recent book is Self-Determination, Statehood, and the Law of Negotiation: The Case of Palestine (Hart 2016).  He has taught in England, Israel, Sweden, Turkey, India, and the United States. 

During his time at Chaminade, Dr. Barnidge has developed a strong commitment to the Marianist Characteristics of Marianist Education:
