Family Tours
During the summer, prospective family tours are conducted most weekdays between 8:00 AM and 2:00 PM. Prospective families will tour our campus and meet with a member of Chaminade's Admissions Office. All tours are scheduled by appointment - please contact Dianne Dunning-Gill, Associate Admissions Director, at ddunning-gill@chaminade-stl.com or 314-692-6640 to schedule your family tour. Most tours take between 60 and 75 minutes.
2010-2011 Shadow Visit questions and answers
When should I arrive and how much time will the campus visit take?
You should plan to arrive at 7:35 AM. You will complete your campus visit by 12:20 PM most days (12:45 PM if we have mass scheduled on the day you visit).
Where should I go when I arrive at Chaminade?
Your parent(s) should park in any visitor parking place in front of Chaminade Hall. Walk up the front steps of Chaminade Hall, and once inside, the Admissions Office is the first office on your left.
Who will I meet on campus?
You will meet with Mr. Matthew Saxer '85, Director of Admissions, and/or Ms. Dianne Dunning-Gill, Associate Admissions Director. You will visit four classes and be given a campus tour by your Student Ambassadors for the day.
What should I wear for the campus visit?
You should wear a collared shirt, khaki pants or shorts, and athletic shoes.

Why does a campus visit make good sense?
You can get answers to your questions about Chaminade that are not addressed in print materials or on the web. You can see first hand how the classes are conducted and meet some of your future teachers. It’s a win-win situation… you benefit, and Chaminade benefits.
When can prospective students shadow?
Eighth graders considering freshman entry should shadow between September 13 and November 15. Students considering middle school entry can shadow anytime between September 13 and March 31.
