Shadow visits are now being scheduled! Shadow visits are a great way to experience Chaminade.
When should I arrive and how much time will the campus visit take?
You should plan to arrive at 7:35 AM. You will complete your campus visit by 12:20 PM most days (12:45 PM if we have mass scheduled on the day you visit).
Where should I go when I arrive at Chaminade?
Your parent(s) should park in any visitor parking place in front of Chaminade Hall. Walk up the front steps of Chaminade Hall, and once inside, the Admissions Office is the first office on your left.
Who will I meet on campus?
You will meet with Mr. Matthew Saxer '85, Director of Admissions. You will visit four classes and be given a campus tour by your Student Ambassadors for the day.
What should I wear for the campus visit?
You should wear a collared shirt, khaki pants or shorts, and athletic shoes.

Why does a campus visit make good sense?
You can get answers to your questions about Chaminade that are not addressed in print materials or on the web. You can see first hand how the classes are conducted and meet some of your future teachers. It’s a win-win situation… you benefit, and Chaminade benefits.
When can prospective students shadow?
Shadow visits are now being scheduled through the end of February. Parents should contact the Admissions Office at least 48 hours in advance to schedule a visit. A maximum of four students per day can shadow. Shadow day visits can be scheduled on these dates:
- March: 1 - 2, 16 - 19, and 22 - 23
- April: 8, 9, 12, 14 - 16, 19 - 23, and 26 - 29 (NOTE: 7th graders interested in freshman entry can visit in April)

Family Tours
When classes are in session, family tours are conducted most weekdays between 8:00 AM and 2:00 PM with later tours also available. Prospective families will tour our campus and meet with a member of Chaminade's Admissions Office. Please contact Matthew Saxer, Director of Admissions, at 314-692-6650 or msaxer@chaminade-stl.com to schedule a tour. Most tours take 45 minutes to one hour. Prospective resident students and their families may tour Chaminade during the week or on Saturdays.
