Athletic History/State Championships

Chaminade is extremely proud of the rich tradition of athletic success that we have built over the years. Chaminade teams have finished in the top four of Missouri State High School Activities Association competition 47 times, including 17 State Championships.  The Basketball Team and the Volleyball Team brought home the most recent State Championships in 2009.  The 2006 Soccer Team won State and finished the season with a 31-1-1 record.  The NSCAA/Adidas Poll ranked the Red Devils No. 4 in the nation that year.

Over the past few years, Chaminade teams have excelled in several sports and the overall success of the athletic program rivals that of any school in the state. During the 2001-02 school year, Chaminade won the State Championship in Cross Country and Soccer; finished in the top four in swimming, golf and tennis; went to the quarterfinals in basketball; and won district championships in football and baseball. The Soccer team was named National Champions as they finished the season with a 31-1 record.

During the 2002-03 school year the Soccer team repeated as the State Champions and swimming, golf and tennis again brought home final four trophies while the basketball team captured another district championship. In 2003-04 we celebrated a State Championship in Golf and saw final four finishes in soccer, swimming, and tennis, as well as another quarterfinal appearance by the basketball team.
