Centennial Celebration

Chaminade College Preparatory School is proud to celebrate its centennial in 2010.  For 100 years, Chaminade has been educating young men following the vision of Blessed William Joseph Chaminade.   Plans are underway to celebrate in a variety of ways throughout the entire year of 2010.

The Centennial Celebration kicked off with the Blessed William Joseph Chaminade Liturgy that was held on January 20 during Chaminade Heritage Week.  Archbishop Robert Carlson joined the Chaminade community as the primary celebrant.   The Alumnus of the Year and the Honorary Alumnus awards will be presented by the Alumni Board of Directors.

Highlights of the Centennial Celebration include:

Fathers' Club Centennial Father/Son Banquet - March 7, 2010
Mothers' Club Centennial Fashion Show  - April 9, 2010
Centennial Musical Salute - April 23, 2010
Centennial Celebrate Chaminade - October 1, 2010
Centennial Gala Dinner Dance - October 16, 2010

We sincerely hope that all members of the Chaminade Family will take part in the various centennial events throughout the year and will enjoy taking the time to recall our rich history and share in the excitement of the beginning of our next 100 years with the groundbreaking of the new Skip Viragh '59 Center for the Arts in Spring, 2010.
