Resident Curriculum

The resident curriculum begins in August with the Esto Vir International Program, an orientation program aimed at new students to Chaminade. We also have our annual "Welcome to St.Louis Dinner and Wild Bird Show" once all of the students arrive on campus. September brings the Faculty vs. Resident Student Soccer Tournament and the University of Missouri vs. the University of Illinois college football game. In October, students enjoy mass and breakfast at the St. Louis Cathedral Basillica. Later in the month the dormers compete at extreme bowling. Novembers activities include paintball, the circus and a traditional Thanksgiving Dinner provided by the Mother's Club. As the first semester comes to a close, students participate in the Our Lady of Guadalupe mass and dinner.

The second semester begins in January with the first hiking club expedition. February is filled with activities such as snow skiing, an evening at the St. Louis Blues professional ice hockey game, a celebration dinner for the Chinese New Year and the residence hall basketball tournament. March is dedicated to cultural activities including a tour of the art museum and a night at the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra. One of the final activities of the semester is the annual trip to see the St. Louis Cardinal's play professional baseball.
