Mentor Groups

Each school day begins with Mentor Group at 7:35 AM. The purpose of this group is to build strong relationships with students from across divisions and to form a bond with the adult Mentor. Students stay with the same Mentor during 6th, 7th and 8th grades then move to a high school Mentor for his high school years. How these relationships and bonds are formed vary by Mentor Group.

The role of the Mentor is to build positive relationships with the students, oversee the seniors who lead the group, be creative with ideas and communicate with the Deans and parents. Mentors will monitor school progress and participation, assist with guiding the student, be a source of encouragement, and participate in programs of pastoral care for the student.
