Ethics + Career Day

The purpose of the Ethics and Career Day seminar is to share ethical dilemmas from real-world situations and facilitate discussion with senior students as well as to expose them to various career paths.

This interactive program consists of a day-long workshop (8 a.m.-2:45 p.m.), comprised of a morning Ethics session and an afternoon Career Path session where the alumni volunteers work closely with the students and serve as group leaders. Ideally, we look for 18-20 alumni to act as table leaders for the workshop. We are especially seeking those who have faced interesting ethical dilemmas in their careers that could be used as case studies. Group leaders facilitate both fictional and real-life case studies, which pose several dilemmas to the students that they must then process to determine the benefits and/or consequences of their decisions.
