After-school Activities:
Participation in interscholastic sports by resident students is highly encouraged. Chaminade has interscholastic competition in 18 sports including soccer, football, basketball, baseball and swimming. The indoor pool, gyms, the weight room and the practice fields are available to the resident students and are supervised by the resident staff. In addition, the resident students are encouraged to participate in other co-curricular activities with over 40 clubs available. Transportation to all athletic contests and club events is provided by the resident staff.
Weekend Schedule:
Our resident students have the opportunity to participate in several different types of activities on the weekends. Friday nights are typically reserved for normal, U.S. high school events such as football games, mixers, basketball games and dances. Saturdays are spent off campus at cultural events around the St. Louis area while on Sunday mornings we offer the boys the chance to do service work in the community. A sample of the weekend activities is shown below.
