Student Life

 

At Chaminade we believe in developing the whole student; not just academically, but physically, spiritually, and culturally to turn them into the leaders the world needs them to be.  To do this, we provide sports, clubs, and activities for nearly any interest.  With 18 varsity sports and more than 40 clubs to choose from, your son is sure to find an activity or group suited for him, and hopefully find a new interest along the way.

 

Being a Catholic, Marianist institution, faith formation is at the center of everything we do.  Our Campus Ministry program provides our students with ample opportunities to explore their faith and deepen their relationship with Christ through our grade-specific retreats and our all-school Masses on the first Friday of every month during the school year.

 

For over 20 years, the Chaminade House System has defined the culture at Chaminade.  Whether you are a senior and in your 7th year at Chaminade, or you are a 6th grader just starting out, you are a valued member of the Chaminade family.  There is no barrier between middle school and high school and it is a common site to see high schoolers and middle schoolers intermingling with one another during extracurricular activities.

 

The House System provides leadership opportunities to all upperclassmen, all while creating an atmosphere where our students come to know each other as brothers, fostering the Family Spirit that Chaminade is known for.
