Chaminade College Preparatory School, an independent, Catholic Day and Resident school, sponsored by the Marianist Province of the United States, is dedicated to developing the inherent spiritual, intellectual, emotional, and physical potential of young men in Sixth through Twelfth Grade so they are prepared for success in college and life and ultimately become the men the world needs them to be.
Esto Vir, or "Be A Man" is the journey all Chaminade boys take to develop spiritually, educationally, socially, and culturally to become the men the world needs them to be. At Chaminade, Esto Vir is more than a motto. It is something we take to heart.
Chaminade's middle school program provides exceptional opportunities for our students to grow and develop as we seek to prepare them for success in high school academically, socially, and spiritually.
The goal of our middle school is to give students the opportunity to establish positive and trusting relationships with their peers and their teachers. Our House System is often the avenue through which these relationships are formed and developed.
Chaminade has a unique educational mission rooted in our Catholic Marianist identity. Our long-standing traditions have contributed to the continuation of our mission and identity. Throughout our school's history, we have enjoyed a close association with the Society of Mary and our identity has been enhanced by the constant presence of Marianist priests and brothers serving as administrators, faculty, and staff.
