College Counseling

College Selection Process

Chaminade has two full-time College Counselors. From Freshman through Senior year, each student is assigned a College Counselor to help him prepare and plan for the college admission process.

College Counselors work with Freshmen and Sophomores in groups to engage them in early college awareness activities.

For Juniors and Seniors, they work one-on-one with students and their families in an individualized program to develop college goals, establish timelines, and complete applications. College Counselors pride themselves on being accessible to the students, parents, and faculty through before and after school appointments, during academic labs, evening appointments (as needed) and communication via email over weekends and breaks. Seniors have multiple one-on-one meetings with their College Counselor to proof applications prior to submission.
